I would die if I did not buy (1)

I would die if I did not buy is a new MEME (I have too many memes) in which I would talk about my To Buy List and why I want to buy this book before the others on my life (it's so different than Waiting on Wednesday) .

Death & Co. (Death & Co. #1)
Published May 2nd 2013 by Hot Key

About the book:Adam is a Luman, and it runs in the family. Escorting the dead from life into light, Adam must act as guide to those taken before their time. As his older brothers fall into their fate however, Adam clings to his life as a normal kid - one who likes girls, hates the Head and has a pile of homework to get through by Monday morning. When Adam gets a terrible premonition he realises that he must make a devastating choice, risking his life, his family and his destiny.

OMG! Adam is a reaper or sort of an afterlife guide? I would love to read such a paranormal and gothic tale; that's would light up my night.

The Forbidden Stone (The Copernicus Legacy #1)
Published January 7th 2014 by Katherine Tegen Books (first published January 1st 2014).

About the book:
Rick Riordan meets Dan Brown in this exhilarating and adventurous new tween series from beloved and bestselling author Tony Abbott.
The Copernicus Legacy has everything middle-grade readers love-an international adventure, a compelling friendship story, and a mission that draws on history and astronomy. Readers who loved Percy Jackson will be eager to follow our heroes on this six-book, six-novella journey and excited to enter a sweepstakes to participate in a real-life scavenger hunt hosted by Tony Abbott that lets the reader become part of the story.

It all began when four friends-Wade, Lily, Darrel, and Becca-received a strange, coded email from Wade's uncle Henry shortly before the old man's sudden death. They set off for Germany to attend the funeral with Wade's father, Roald, and discover that Uncle Henry left them yet another baffling message that they suspect is the key to figuring out how and why he died.

The message leads to a clue, and the more clues they discover, the farther they travel down a treacherous path toward an ancient, guarded secret. Soon they are in a breathless race across the globe, running for their lives as a dangerous shadow organization chases them around every corner. Their only hope of saving themselves-and the world that they know-is to find twelve magical relics from a hidden past that will unlock the Copernicus Legacy.

The Da Vinci Code meets Percy Jackson; I am so in. Also have you seen the book cover?

Constable & Toop
Published October 4th 2012 by Hot Key Books

About the book:Sam Toop lives in a funeral parlour, blessed (or cursed) with an unusual gift. While his father buries the dead, Sam is haunted by their constant demands for attention. Trouble is afoot on the 'other side' - there is a horrible disease that is mysteriously imprisoning ghosts into empty houses in the world of the living. And Sam is caught in the middle - will he be able to bring himself to help?
Blue Peter Award winner Gareth P. Jones has woven a darkly comic story, a wonderfully funny adventure that roams the grimy streets of Victorian London.

A book with a funeral house, a boy who sees ghosts and it's Victorian London? Sold ;) ...
