R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril VI

Every September 1st through October 31st for the last 5 years   Stainless steel droppings  is hosting the R.eaders I.mbibing P.eril Challenge, affectionately known as the R.I.P. Challenge.

The purpose of the R.I.P. Challenge is to enjoy books that could be classified as:
Dark Fantasy.

I am going to join it and trying to apply for

Peril the First:
Read four books, any length, that you feel fit (my very broad definitions) of R.I.P. literature. It could be Stephen King or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Ian Fleming or Edgar Allan Poe…or anyone in between.

My List;
  • Dracula by Bram Stoker
  • Ghost Stories of Edith Wharton (Wordsworth Mystery & Supernatural) by Edith Wharton
  • The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins

  • The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux

  • Tales of mystery and imagination by Edgar Allan Poe

    1. I am hoping to read The Woman in White for the challenge, too.

    2. good list! I liked the Woman in White and I didn't think I'd like classics !

    3. Thanks so much.

      I will add anther book or 2 to the list.

      @DesLily Classics are the best ever; they just need us to give them more love.

      @Kailana I can't wait to read your thoughts of it.
